Deed Research

Deeds are records of land ownership and describe the boundaries of a property. It is the most important element of land surveying and is required for a boundary survey. Reasons to have deed research done include: finding any restrictions pertaining to use of the land, such as easements, encumbrances, or real covenants. Deed research verifies the extent of ownership to a real piece of land.
